Working with Mid Coast Connect and Newman’s Technical College, Port Macquarie Tuning & Mechanical help assist young people with their education and training by providing work placement opportunities.

This is a mutually beneficial partnership for our business as we give a young person firsthand experience in a real workplace in the automotive field whilst they are completing their VET studies.

Mid Coast Connect is a non-profit organization that has been working in the Port Macquarie community and surrounds for 20 years. They work with local businesses, like ours, and the local schools and colleges to help young people find their way to their careers.

Port Macquarie Tuning & Mechanical are host work placement employers that help assist students at Newman's Technical College to prepare people for the workplace by providing meaningful workplace opportunities.

Newman’s is a vocational training school for years 11 & 12, they choose 4-6 different trades to see which suits them best what clicks for the student. They are always a great help around the workshop which we love to teach our skills to.
